I've been getting an issue today, where whenever I try to play a game, the game freezes and goes to a black screen, then tells me that the "NVIDIA Kernal Drivers for Windows have stopped responding"

 

I've looked up the issue on Google, and I still haven't fixed it. I re-installed my drivers from scratch, the problem is still present.

 

What do you think is the solution, TIF?

What is your video card and what version of the driver do you have?

NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT, the driver version is 266.58.
