AirlessWig
Ello, I'm a pretty good staker when it comes to first hits, but sometimes, usually the higher stakes and better opponents, my opponent turns towards me before the countdown has ended and when i attack him a little after the countdown has reached 1 (usually the way to get first hit) it always says that my opponent is still counting down. What am i doing wrong here? Thx Airless Click here for my guide on how to solo the D Kings
BeNiceOk
I'm not really sure on this answer, but I'm going to take a guess at why this would happen. I am assuming that when you start a match and are both teleported to the dueling arena, the game server starts the countdown and sends a message to your Java Client to start counting down. It's possible that your Java Client is counting down faster than the server, and as a result you see both players as "ready to fight" before the server registered it as such. This could be by lag from the server, or perhaps some other issue with the two syncing. Because of that, when it looks like you have a green light to attack, and attempt to strike, the server is still on its countdown tick and returns a message saying "No, I'm not ready yet". Again this is just a guess at what might be happening. Someone with a little more staking experience might be familiar with this problem and have more information on it. EDIT: Also if this a new problem and several people experience it, perhaps Jagex changed the buffer time so you can't send a request to attack to the server until the server tells you that your allowed to send a request to attack. So maybe you can no longer attempt to attack before "Fight!" gets sent to your client from the server?

Nope, I can get it fine on both of my computers, it's just when my opponent turns BEFORE it counts down to 1, he gets a first hit, want to know how it's done and what can be done about it. thx for the help though Click here for my guide on how to solo the D Kings
