Hi everyone, thanks for visiting.

This is a progression from my old thread which I have posted in the spoiler below. I stopped updating that thread when I quit around 2-3 years ago, so it's very out of date but nice to look at for nostalgia.

I'm 17 and live in the UK. I enjoy most types of music but particularly metal (right now I'm all about Lamb of God) and grime (K Koke) - feel free to chat to me about music if you want! Odd pair of artists to pick, I know.

 

I play RS as a hobby - I don't want it to turn into an obsession and take over my life. I have a wonderful set of friends and a girlfriend who I've been with for over two years now.

 

Right now I'm studying for very important exams, so I'll be playing 1-2 hours per day, and in around a month it'll hopefully be as low as 30 minutes a day. After that I'll have more time to play and enjoy myself!

Currently i'm in a clan called "Guardians of Arandar". They're a 110+ clan and are pretty much perfect for me, doing a large number of boss trips and corp every saturday and most sundays, which is great fun if I'm at home.

 

Goals

 

Very long term:

99 dungeoneering (untrimmed skill cape)

 

 

 

Running up to that:

The plan is to get 2000 total so I can be slightly more respectable when aiming for 99 dungeoneering. At the moment I have 1930ish total, which is quite high for my level, but I'd prefer it to be higher.

 

 

[spoiler=Seers Elite + Varrock Hard]Achieved - Sorry for the lack of proof! The EEE is really useful - using it for a mixture of barrows/bandos/arma and general slayer.

 

 

[spoiler=95 Strength] Achieved! Got this because it's quite a nice milestone to get before 99 (if I ever do get that far)

 

 

[spoiler=90 Defence]

I want 90 defence for its usefulness in pvp and in dungeoneering. I'm not really a gwd tank so I'm not planning on using it there, but I'm sure it'll be useful nonethless.

 

 

[spoiler=75 Construction]I want 75 construction because it won't cost me too much and is a useful skill to have for dungeoneering and will help me with my total level goal.

 

 

[spoiler=Dragon Claws]I want claws because I currently have no spec weapon that is actually useful bar EEE, korasi's and a DDS.. which aren't exactly great?

 

 

[spoiler=Nex]Help kill Nex (I realise that no team would ever take me, but I can dream! :thumbsup: ). My clan have hinted that a trip may happen at some point - so looking forward to that.

[spoiler=08 April 2011]This is my first ever entry! For the past couple of days I've been trying to gather a bit of money so I can train up some of my buyable skills and maybe even buy claws. I started this with a bit of barrows, because it's "sort of ok-ish" money and and pretty good fun. However after around 3 days and something like 50 chests with no loot whatsoever, I quickly became bored! So instead I decided to go do some frosts, despite them being slightly too intense for my liking. After something like 250-300 kills, this happened:

Pretty much made my week/month/year. Nice end to a load of bad luck, and the best drop I've ever recieved (second being a spectral split).

At the moment I've got 32m. I think what I'll do is raise this to 40m, and then buy 15m in supplies lobster bursting (hopefully getting 88 summoning) and maybe even claws!

 

 

[spoiler=18 April 2011]Not been up to too much since my visage drop. Decided that I would go for 90 range and 90 defense in the coming weeks, spread over a while as I don't have much free times at the moment. Currently around 200k from 90 defense and a bit more from 90 range. This is a short entry due to time constraints - should be revising at the moment!

In reference to the recent incidents on the general discussion involving metagaming etc - both parties need to swallow their pride and get on with their lives. Now, I feel that the mods here have put in a bit of effort into the new sub-forum, effectively saying sorry. It would only be fair if the "metagamers" came back from the other forum (which I feel was a good move at the time, less so now as tip.it have changed their forums) and gave tip.it a second chance. This probably won't get read, but just giving my opinion. More to come soon when I have more time (i.e. Late May!)
