Since the recent quest came out, I actually needed to level some skills to get my Quest Cape back, so now I need 3 Smithing levels. I have a decent cash pile, but I still want a cheap way to do it.

 

Any tips?

This. I did that for 71-74 smith for the quest. You should superheat at same time as you smelt at edgeville furnace so it will go extremely fast, though it requires some concentration.
