Farming :(

OK, I really do not like or enjoy doing farming, but I want to get from 49 to 70.

 

Easiest way, quickest way would be good.

The best fruit and normal trees you can do in every patch you have available would be the fastest way to get there.

If you really hate it use Penguin Points on it as well, although those are better suited to more expensive/slower skills. If it's your lowest skill do ToG weekly (though you should do that anyway). Other than that both fruit and normal trees would be the fastest xp but expensive, herbs would be the most cost effective.

I think you going about farming the wrong way.

 

Just do farming once in awhile, like after a slayer task or when ever you get bored or don't know what to do.

 

Never wait at patches waiting for them to grow.

 

Personally it takes me 5-6 minutes to farm 5 farm patches (just the herb patch and the flowers). Thats what I did to get 96 farming.

 

Thats what I do to make farming not a horrible skill.

 

Trees are decent for exp, but in between the tree runs, I would suggest doing the above plus planting watermelon.

 

Oh, and a great thing to know if you don't already:

 

Use your crops/herbs on the leprechauns and they will note them on site.

plant the best fruit/wood trees you can plant pay farmer to watch them and do frequent herb runs with the highest lvl seed you can plant. (garden pies boost farming by up to 3 so make good use of those since they are extremely cheap)

Thanks for the replies, i tried the trees thing, how boring is farming, and no I do not stand around waiting either.

 

I get no fun or addictive urges with farming, IT IS JUST PLAIN BORING, same as Dungeoneering "yawn" zzzzzzzz
