A Fresh Start

Hey, I'm Sam. I'm pleased to announce that I have returned to Runescape after a fairly long absence and have opted to start fresh. This is my blog on my future PVM account (pretty much just a main that bosshunts :D)

 

April 27th, 2011

Today I plan on hitting 30 Slayer. Was assigned Earth Warriors as a task last night and spent the last hour before I went to bed getting 1-15 Agility to get accross the Monkey Bars in the Edge Dungeon. Today I will be getting a late start but expect to finish atleast the Earth Warrior task as well as one or two more from Vannaka(only hit 40 cb yesterday :D) Also, I've added Agility and Thieving goals to my list. I would like to get 70 Agility up and out of the way BEFORE I end up needing it, as well as 60 Thieving for the sake of reaching 60 in a skill.

Thanks mate, I appreciate it! To anyone who read my post between now and 1:45 p.m. today, I was still at work, however I finished up at 3 O'Clock so I am in the process of editing some screenies. Feel free to say hello to Provintial (that'd be me) in game on w87. I'm currently fishing for shrimp in Draynor. Only have until 5:30 at home however, so I'm diligently working to get my thread up and running for all the night people.

Thanks man! I was thinking the same thing about hitting the high levels before getting membership, then I started thinking about training via slayer :o

I'd like to gain the bulk of my combat levels through slayer tasks. In light of that, I started p2p last night.

 

quick update:

I am 27 strength now, training on Thugs in the Edge Dungeon. They're not the greatest experience, but it hasn't been terribly slow. It helps that they drop a fair amount of herbs (and I will be holding onto them for now, they're majorly crashed :[ ) and Clue Scrolls. Will enjoy doing these whenever I get them. Did my first last night, 38 p ess and some teleport scrolls. Just got another, will do it soon and post a snap of the reward.

 

10 Attack and Defence until 30 Strength, then the Slaying begins.

I hope to only do any combat training via slayer from now on. I like that it keeps things fresh by swiching up the monsters for me. Granted, I'm not even close to scraping into Slayer's potential to collect intense amounts drops just yet

 

I'm planning on spending the next week only training Melee and Slayer. Perhaps the week after that will be a week of Questing and any prereq skills I come accross.

 

Few levels here, starting off quickly enough.

Now 28 Attack, 40 Strength, and 20 Defence. 17 Prayer as well as 25 Slayer! Will be updating the pictures on my main post after I get off work and have some food. Got a d stone from kalphites, will be posting that pic later too.
