Quick and simple,

I've been told that I could make money quickly at green dragons simply using my range, I never thought about dragons as my combat stats are pretty poor..

 

Now that I have a bit of confidence that I may be able to kill greenies with range, I was wondering if people would be kind enough to help me out in terms of:

 

- set up (Inc. Armor and weaponry)

- location

- trip time/gp per trip

For setup you could have something just as simple as black dhide, anti-dragon shield, rune cbow, broad bolts and other stuff you use for ranging. Ava's accumalator if you want?

You could either kill them in chaos tunnels or in the forinathery (sp?) dungeon. They are the most efficient places. Chaos tunnels however, have baby black dragons. The forinathery dungeon has alot of pkers who usually go in pairs meleeing/tb and an ancient magic user.

I dont know about trip time and those things.

You could obviously use better range gear, but be careful about pkers.

Best set up would be; black d hide body,chaps and vambs, rune crossbow and broad bolts. Plus other items you're willing to loose willy nilly.

Most fun set up would be exactly the same, but use a hunter crossbow with kebbit bolts, can't remember what each is equivalent too in the metals, but the bow is fast as hell.

 

Best location is east of the wilderness graveyard and because you have 86 mage I suggest you switch to ancients and use the carralanger teleport, and just run the rest. It's really quick and when you're done you can just house tab because you only have to run a bit into level 20 wild.

 

You could probably get away with using lobsters, but monkfish are nicer to use.

 

I don't know the Trip time and gp per trip. But if you only pick up the dragon bones you'll bump up your gp per trip.

What are the chances of running into pkers? Should I take fewer broad bolts because of the chance of getting pked? And where should I have my house so minimise banking time?

Using house teleport tabs, one of the best things would be to have a altar and kharyll tele in house. Tele house, pray at altar, go through portal to canifis. Bank, carralanger tele.

Ive not done con in ages so i dont know if you can build them, but if you can do that.

50-100 bolts per trip should be fine.
