Hi, I started playing runescape back in 2003/2004 and have had several gaps in between so haven't played that much. I'm looking for a clan that has fun events to go to. My combat level is 93, I have changed my character name to Glowfairy, please see my signature for my stats. I would prefer a clan based in UK if possible. Thanks :)

It was a Friday the 13th in the fall of 2006 when a group of loyal friends broke away from a clan that had no life in it, to start something that we had no idea on how big it would become... This group of friends has now expanded well beyond 40 people and is evergrowing...

 

It is about time we shared this with more people because you deserve something good too!

 

You will have seen our banner pretty widespread over this site in the sigs of some of our members... But you will probably have heard of us before...

 

We participated in the MSSW3, and did most,

if not all, of the behind the scenes work to make it the success it was (you may remember TS Stormrages posts on the General Discussions, or his Horse flag in the vids)

Our Leader Ts_stormrage himself is a regular Times writer, and a fair amount of us have blogs right here on tipit.

 

Our clan seems to have a tradition where, should you inquire about joining, you could quite possibly stay there for life,as hardly anyone has ever left our clan.

Most retired but even after leaving still stick around in the IRC daily.

If you dont believe it, just come in and ask anyone in the Chatroom. Unlike most clans we are very IRC based. We prefer talking in real time than posting on the forums that may not be seen.

 

 

So what kind of Clan are we? I'd say we fit in the community category because we dont have any strict minimum requirements, but we do not restrict ourselves to specific activities or what not... We will do everything there is to do on RuneScape, and we do it with a passion :)

 

Some of the events we do I'll list for you:

- Boss Monster Hunting (Mole, KQ, DK, GWD, but Zammy is our favorite)

- CastleWars (our tower defense is nigh unbeatable)

- Clan Wars (both F2P and P2P

- House Parties (often coincide with general clan meets)

- Rogues Den races (with neat rewards)

- Trouble Brewing (the peaceful version)

- Trawler (with pies and booze its especially fun)

 

We're a peacefull clan, not looking for trouble, and avoiding it when it comes looking for us... But if we are forced to fight, and fight with a purpose, then expect nothing less then masterminded tactics applied to the full potential force that our clan holds... Yes, you read it right, we have yet to lose an organised contest in whatever way, shape or form you can imagine from another clan.

 

 

Alrighty, so why join us out of all the other clans?

- We started on Friday the 13th.

- The wilderness and trade updates has hurt many a clans, but not us.

- We are one of the founding Tip It Forum Conclave members.

- We have specialized castes for each combat group, and we'll train you to fit right in.

- The assist system allows you to finish whatever raw materials you may have left but cant use yet (on ANY skill).

- Everyone one of us has a specialist skill in something in game and will teach you about it and help you out with it if you want to know about it.

- You can also expect a decent and intelligent conversation about other non-RS subjects in our Irc-based chat (also accessible through your browser).

- On joining you get a free cookie (or pie).

 

But most of all stands the one reason why people join a clan... Not for profit, not for fame, but the simple need to give it all a meaning... To share our experiences of both the fantastic, and the mundane... To fulfill the human need to find a kindred, and know in our hearts that we are not alone...

 

Joining is easy, just come to our chatroom and request an interview...

We dont have strict stat requirements, but try to have some decent levels (1100 total)

Survive the interview, register at the forums

and try to have mIRC or another ircbased chatprogram (Members have experience with both Contact Armybuilder

 

From then on a trial period ensues, marking you as a Recruit in the TalshiarClan cc in game. After the two-three week trial period is over you shall be brought up to Corporal

It seems like it was just a few weeks ago (and it was :mrgreen: ) that I joined the TSA' date=' and so far, I have no regrets. The members are really friendly, active and helpful and it is well-organised to say the very least.

 

Though as far as I've seen we're not THE best clan around, I'm happy to see we are growing fast and have an abundance of people skilled in a multitude of things. That, and my new clanmates made me feel right at home as soon as my application was officially accepted.

 

What can I say? Its a great clan, and I look forward to being a clanmember for as long as they allow me to.

I have seen first-hand how Tal Shiar operates and I must admit you guy's are very organised at everything which is why I think you win most of CTET's events.

Wow, scrolling down the topic all I saw was tl;dr.

 

Hey Amy, I've been playing just about as long as you with the same sporadicness. In fact I know a lot of people like that, which is why RBH is for you. The vast majority of our clan has been playing for 6+ years on and off but normally not at the same time and as such we have a massive knowledge of the game, plus you'll fit right in. You meet our requirements, although I'd encourage you to train combat. RBH is primarily warring and community based with usually 3 or more pvp events a week. We also do quite a bit of boss hunting where a higher combat will help. Sacred Skills was first formed two years ago, with the name of White Skillers. The Sacred Skills (Known as White Skillers at that time) of the past was known as a clan with goals, and open arms to every individual with basic knowledge of the English language. Many friends were made and great times had. The friendships made were lasting bonds. I speak from personal experience when I say this, there are few of the olden SS that I don't still talk to on a regular basis. This is what we are aiming for. A community that can have a great time and actually bring fun back to the game of RuneScape. You can expect nothing less than open arms when you step through our doorstep. Before you apply to become a member of Sacred Skills you must make sure you meet the requirements; however, if you just fall short of the requirements (Up to the staff judgement) you will have 14 days to obtain those requirements during your trial membership. We judge this by event attendance, posts with in the forum and IRC activity. This may seem much, though we understand that members have lives out side of Runescape so we work with averages, so don't worry if you missed some events or didn't post on the forum on a day.

 

The ongoing requirements for clan members are as follows:

Must maintain an average weekly event attendance points of 2.

Must be active with in IRC and the Clan Chat.

Blasphemy is a clan that has heart and a passion to make an unforgettable mark. Our community enables the first step to our goals, were a clan that has great respect for one another. In Blasphemy, we really do feel like a family, it's like a tradition and a rule; Always stick by your comrades side and be their support in every instance.

 

Like mentioned, were built strongly on organization, thats organization on and off the wildy. In the wildy, you see like nearly every clan doing the same thing, the same tactics, I mean they do it but its never that perfect and for us just too repetitive. Runescape can be incredibly exciting if you have awesome imagination, charisma and the willingness of hearts to try out the different plans and tactics in the wildy. We make sure that every Blasphemien in the war is well aware of what they have to do, and that their confident and ready.

 

Now, most clans are built and revolve around having events, otherwise what's the point in clans? Blasphemy has a range of events, and our highest priority within them is to make them work and be successful. We want people to cherish the experience they have, and in the end, enjoy themselves.

• F2P - We do a variety of F2P events, as Blasphemy is a F2P based clan. Clan Wars is really fun, especially knowing that you can run into any clan, knowing the popularity that it has with clans. We also do PvP Related wars and pking events aswell.
  
• P2P - We also like to do P2P events such as Fight Pits, GodWars, Castle Wars, KBD etc.
  
• Wars - This is the heart of Blasphemy's system. We train to war, to defeat other clans who set upon us a challenge. We have huge aims, and to earn what's yours, you must be willing to fight. Pvp & CWA wars is what blasphemy does.
  
• Fun Events - We have plentiful of these, Achievement Parties, Skill Events, Unique Events and many more. Aims of Fun Events are to do something different for a change, at the same time to hopefully rep up Blasphemy by showing happiness within ourselves.
  

We try to do official events as much as we can, but in realness we have at least one "unofficial" event EVERY other day. This usually happens in our IRC channel, where clans might declare an instant 30 min prep mini. This shows our family is 24/7, and we like to keep in touch whenever we play runescape.

 

The aims of Blasphemy are always high and ambitious in an observer's eye, but to us it's something that we all cherish to complete. Things like making Blasphemy the most "unique" clan amongst all, don't know how we'll do it but one day if fate goes our way, we will be the first. Another aim is to create a brotherhood community, as mentioned above, but we want to keep this and make it stronger and more efficient to survive in the future. Final aim I'll mention is that Blasphemy does one day want to reach the top, and eventually be known and referred to as, positive, courageous and always existent.
