Underground Pass

This is actually a very bad flaw from the quest guide, in underground pass you need a plank to pass some traps at a certain point, yet i can see no indication of a plank in required or suggested items. Now i have to leave the underground pass to get one - please update your guide to suggest at least a plank!!!

I'm pretty sure that the guide suggests somewhere to pick up the plank that is in the room to the right after you cross the first bridge... Might be wrong though.

But the point is:

 

there is a plank spawn right before you need it.

If you pay attention to the guide and/or your surroundings you will see this.

 

Adding it to suggested items just means you go down with less food in order to carry a useless plank as you can pick one up in the tunnel jsut before it is needed and by whcih point you will probably have eaten some food and thus have space.

 

None of the guides bother suggesting items you can pick up within the quest; only exception being awkward "pick ups" eg MEP2 mentions you can take a death tally to avoid the list of 50 items.

5. Take the damp cloth and use it on any type of regular arrow, provided your ranged level and bow allow you to fire it. Use the wrapped arrow on the fire next to you and you will get a lit arrow. Take the pathway north of Koftik and choose the "Fire at" option on the guide rope next to the drawbridge. After you have fired at the bridge, you will automatically walk across it. Once you cross, do not pull the lever unless you want to walk back to the other side. Grab a plank from the room north of the bridge as you will need this later on and there is no other opportunity to get one later on.

 

It says this in bolt too, and is indicated on the map. ;)

 

However, as it still is required, I'll add a note to the guide.

actually its picked up in step 5, before you would use your rope to cross the gap (where you might save one spot) and I didn't need the guide up to this point meaning i didn't need to read that bit. You are not gonna fail the quest over one slot so it would be sensible to say plank in suggested items and in brackets (can be picked up during the quest) to give people the choice. It would be better really.

 

End of the day its your guide i guess i can just go elsewhere if thats what you like :)

I think you have a valid point however I think you are in danger of alienating the people trying to help you by over-reacting.
