In the quest guide, it says any ice spell can be used, but I found out the hard way that Ice Rush (lowest ice spell) can not be used. It makes sense after I look at the requirements for the quest but I would have liked to have found out previously before failing. :) Thanks, time to try again!

Suppose they are relying on common sense to realise one under required mage level won't work.

But deffo sounds like it needs rewording to say any ice spell over lvl x
