Dire_Wolf
My keyboard got a key that's messed up. It's a key that mutes/unmutes. Problem is that this key is broken (don't ask how), so it randomly mutes/unmutes at time. How can i disable this key? I need a spesific step by step instruction walkthrough or a video. Not a general video of how to map keys or disable. Thanks!

Guy
Hmm.. the problem is made harder because it's not a generic key on all keyboards, it's a custom one so to speak, so you may not be able to disable it. There's this utility, but I'm not sure how good it is (and I can't vouch for security, but that should be fine). Or you could try this. I got both of those links from googling "disable key on keyboard". Google normally holds the answers to most stuff. If that doesn't work, and further digging reveals nothing, I would say given how cheap keyboards are now, just go ahead and buy another one. Dire_Wolf
Thanks Guy, and yes Google holds many answers. It's just that i am not always good at asking the right questions
Guy
Fair enough, I just stick some keywords in there within a short sentence excluding unnecessary words, eg "disable key on keyboard" not "how do i disable a key on my keyboard" RIP TET "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." - Friedrich Nietzsche
