Ok, i am trying my best to get into Game Maker program. And it has nothing to do with Gallery forum, but i have to master two things :

 

1. Separating sprite sheets

2. Animating the sprites

 

And i can't seem to get past nr 1 :( I used Microsoft Gif animator and 4 sprites that would make a animated character. But the animated became weird. I am thinking it's has do with the size of the separated sprites. Pixel x Pixel thing.

 

Anyone got any tips? I downloaded a program for separating sprites but it is so hard to understand it.

I found out that using Adobe Photoshop (layers) and syncing sprites for a animation will solve my problem =) And then i thought of a free software (GIMP) and found this video:

 

 

Hope it helps anyone else who encountered same problem as me :)
