Problem logging in.

Alright, I was just minding my own business playing RuneScape, and then I get "Connection lost", and after I get logged out of the game, I try to log back in and I got the message that said "This account has not logged out from previous session". I tried deleting the caches in my computer, tried restarting it but I still get that message.

 

This has happened to me before, last time I had to wait over three hours until I can go back into the game. I'm sure it's not the fact that somebody else got into my RuneScape account, because last time when I finally managed to log in I was exactly where I was, and all my stuff was still there. So I'm sure it's the server that thinks I'm logged in.

 

This is very annoying, I don't wanna wait hours until I can finally log in. Is there a solution to this?

This has happened to members of my clan so many times in the past couple of days and they just had to wait it out.

I told them to do what you did:

I tried deleting the caches in my computer, tried restarting it but I still get that message.

And it didn't work,so as far as i know it's just a glitch or bug.

I've dc'd and been sent straight to log in, which will leave your account logged in. Generally it will count as x logging (closing the browser so you log out in 30-60 seconds) and whenever it happens to me I just have to wait a bit and then I can log right back in.

 

Only time this happened to me like you described and not being able to log in for hours was when a world crashed and my account was stuck in it.

Alright, I logged back in now. My only choice is to wait until I can log back in.
