Sy_Accursed
Tips & Tricks:During the cutscenes between the fights at the end of the quest, if you click anywhere outside of the chatbox during the cutscene dialogue you will be removed from the cutscene. You will end up in the small clearing between the fallen pillar at the Ghorrock Fortress and the small cave opening leading onto the site of the ritual. This is also where your gravestone appears. Once ready to rejoin the battle, enter the ritual site once more and the cutscene will restart from the last battle you fought. Your progress in the battles will not reset. Not 100% true. When you click out and/or die you can also appear at the bottom of your rope near "Jhallan's cave" and the boat back round to snowy hunter area. I went to either place about 50:50 and grave sitting for friends also saw about 50:50 ghorrock and the boat. 11. The Stone of JasItems Required: Armour to defend against Iron Dragons, Steel Dragons and Icefiends, Equipment and/or potions to defend against dragonfire, Ring of visibility.Items Suggested: One-click teleport Equip your ring of visibility and make your way to the south of the ritual site, just west of Movario. You will find a Shadow Pedestal that requires a Heat Globe like the ones found in the Temple at Senntisten. The globes from that quest will not work, however. Return to the Ghorrock fortress, taking care to avoid the dragons. Once inside the inner courtyard of the fortress, climb up the stairs to the west and run around to the south-eastern corner. Climb down the stairs there to a small clearing. From there, scale the damaged wall north of the door. Run over to the northwestern corner and climb down the smashed rampart. You can now enter the trapdoor into the Ghorrock dungeon. Be prepared to defend yourself against level-132 icefiends. Protect from range prayer is recommended. From the entrance of the dungeon, run west and all the way south to find a heat globe on the floor. Make your way back to the Shadow Pedestal and place your heat globe on it. This will melt the wall of ice ahead and expose a cave entrance. There are three big battles on the way, so it is recommended you bank now before entering the cave. And this a few steps earlier:Now run all the way east and talk to Movario about the location of the Stone of Jas. Stick to the eastern side and run north, placing another beacon in the first large tree you reach. Make sure you get a message saying that the beacon is lined up perfectly with the one to the west. If it does not, try a different tree. In my experience doing the quest (& several people I helped):It does NOT tell you to find the stone of Jas until the beacons, heart and ghorrock fortress steps are completed; unless you speak to Movario AFTER all these steps (eg later than ur guide suggests) it won't give you the message about Ghorrock when investigating the pillar. Also it will NOT allow you to place the heat globe until you have had the message about Ghorrock. So in short you need to take out the first bit about speaking to Movario.Add it into the start of part 11, direct players to investigate the pillar to be told about ghorrock and THEN place the globe In addition to this in terms of streamlining the guide:As you must go past ghorrock to access the site in the first place, this is the ideal time to tell players to go down for the globe opposed to sending them back later. When he spawns Bouncer, it will start to do consistent damage that you cannot protect against. Lure the dog over to Wahisietel and he will kill it in just one hit.If for whatever reason you die, your gravestone appears behind the fallen pillar at the Ghorrock fortress. It is a safe place from dragons but in order to get to your gravestone you will still have to run past the steel and iron dragons. For that reason, keeping your anti-dragon or dragonfire shield upon death or grabbing an antifire potion from the bank before running back to your gravestone may be a good idea.Grave location note applies here again also it is advisable to lure Bouncer behind a tree and get him stuck. This stops he being respawned and thus saves u getting hurt by him again while u lure him to ali. titan fight:High magic defence gear while using the Protect from Melee prayer is recommended. Familiar specials are fairly inaccurate.I'd question this. I used melee armour + mage protect and didn't take any damage of significance. Lucien will occasionally use an attack that looks like a dark smoking skull flying towards you. When he does this run away before it lands, as you can be dealt very quick damage that may result in death. Continue to avoid the 3x3 area where it lands for a few seconds until the attack is finished.Probably worth taking it out of the titan fight bullet points to when lucien appears and making it a bit of a bigger note, especially as this attack persists through the titans, demons, glacor and arrav segments (which all do renote this), just this first note it seems a bit odd to lump in with titan attacks. Use Melee defence armour with the Protect from Magic prayer; their range and melee attacks are reasonably inaccurate. This I'd also slightly question, I used mage robes and ended up on protect from range (this was after dying in melee gear with mage protect) and took virtually no damage. Do not let your guard down; Lucien will still use his dark skull attack on you while you kill the zombies, so be prepared to move at any second.Needs to be expanded on as it doesnt mention tht this attack also occurs during arrav bit. Also for arrav bit worth noting: you CANNOT attack arrav with mage or ranged, it simply will not attack. Oh and 1 final note: Strictly speaking a spade is not required; inspite of what the in-game quest guide says. Given that there are 2 spawns in kethsi that a user can grab easily (1 at top of stairs and 1 at bottom) Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Corvus
Thanks for letting us know, we have made all of the suggested corrections with the exceptions of:The Dark skull attack is a mechanic of the various stages of combat, and is therefore important even if you are not directly fighting lucien, so no change was made.Your second reccomendation of boss equipment was not made as Magic prayer provides a good defence against the freezing attack which allows dodging Lucien's Dark skull attack far easierAt this time we have not made the reference to Arrav being unattackable with non melee attacks, as there is no prior warning of this in the quest which suggests that this is a bug and not actually part of the quest. We did not remove the Spade as a requirement, because despite it spawning in Kethsi you do need it for the quest regardless of where you actually get it.
