I've always been pretty interested in making a 1Def pure and seeing as i'm getting pretty fed up with high-end skilling i thought now would be the perfect time.

I think the main aim of this pure would probably be PKing. I'm not great, but i think it could be fun. What would the suggested levels be for a 1Def pure?

Would i be able to PK effectively enough with just melee, or am i going to have to get Range and Mage up too?

How about Prayer?

I personally think 60 attack is best for pures. You really need range and mage imo. Range in particular is huge for pures, and due to the fact you wear robes usually, ice barrage is great also. I also reckon you should shy away from soul wars and pest control. HP is the most vital stat of all to a p2p pure imo. Of course you could make a 50 attack range-to-gmauler, those are always good.
