iGot DG our first PKRI - 05/10/2011

In memory of Steve Jobs - R.I.P.

 

You know what really sucks?

When your clan has their first PKRI EVER...

...and it's with a bunch of no-namers.

Seriously, I don't know who the hell we fought.

Oh well, at least I get to try out this K/D tracker thingy.

So, we mass up with 7ish for our Wednesday PK.

Heading out to F2P deep w57 *hoping* for some action.

We ran into a team of about 10 or so just south of spiders.

They outleveled and outnumbered us, but we fought like hell.

 

 

Thing about fighting random teams is, one bad pile and they bail to mossies.

After 10 minutes or so, one of their mages ran south and I knew they were going to hug single.

I called a regroup at the pond so we could bring them back out.

We headed straight east and took our ground just west of Red Dragon Isle.

They tried to take us on, but we knew them too well by then.

We hit them as they ran out, getting in some quick KOs just a few squares from single.

They had about 13 to our 7 at this point, yet they were stuck sniping from single while we held multi.

 

 

We quickly bailed East to corp and got a rest while we waited.

Sure enough they came around, and the real fight started just north of Corp.

DG were outnumbered almost 2 to 1, but we held our ground.

They got in a few quick KOs, and at points we were down to 2-man piles.

Even so, through a few epic switches and target choices, we made an epic comeback.

DG members started returning faster, tanking harder and spamming higher.

The fight lasted well over half an hour, and we held our ground against all the odds.

This is where our KD even'ed out.

 

 

Despite our amazing recovery, bad luck struck us.

Two other groups intervened, one of about 5 120+ and the other of about 5 80-90s.

It was around 5 vs 20 at this point, and I knew we had to pull out.

 

After that we tried tracking the original team for another fight.

Despite our amazing tracking skills of them not turning their private chats off, no luck.

We hit some groups of level 80s and 90s, got a few solo kills, hit up shallow and called it a night.

 

 

A huge thanks to everyone we fought for *mostly* clean fights.

When the other groups showed up, I knew we had lost.

Even so, I'm insanely proud of DG for tonight.

Against all the odds, we stood our ground and put up one hell of a fight.

We may not have had a true victory, but it's certainly been a night to remember.

Our first PKRI ever, and it was AWESOME.
