Stone of Jas effect from Glacor cave?

Featured Replies

Exactly what effect does it have, where is that effect active, and what stops its effects?

It gives you a small accuracy bonus, I think the max being 5% and it diminishes depending on how far you are. Note that it works in caves and dungeons in the radius. I know you get about a 3% boost in GWD.

And the boost wears off with time, I believe it's 4 hours. Not sure if you can get boosted again after.

The following dungeons are included in the combat bonus area:

God wars dungeon

Lava maze (and K.B.D.)

Forinthry dungeon

Fremennik slayer dungeon

Chaos Tunnels (and Bork)

Troll Stronghold

To activate the bonus, enter the baneore cave. Note that the benefit only lasts for 4 hours and you will be notified in the chat box when the bonus is activated or deactivated.

I've had the effect wear off in the middle of a CWars game, so I don't the the notification tells you whether it is in effect or not, only whether the 4 hours is up.

Either that, or the effect works everywhere in RS.

Dunno if teleporting out of the area automatically cancels it.

The effect lasts for 4 hours regardless of where you are, but the effect only provides a boost when you're in the areas listed by the KB.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

Does Nex count as part of GWD for the purposes of the Stone?
