Adam007
They're always coming out with new things, now it's Google SMS and Google Local, both for cell phones. The features of Google SMS: Google SMS (Short Message Service) enables you to send queries as text messages over your mobile phone or device and easily get precise answers to your questions. No links. No web pages. Just text ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢â∠
Faux
That's nice  Should be useful when we're traveling, though I'll prolly need a better phone for that. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
Schwarzenegger
Google is catching on the momentum, and doing too much at once. At the same time, they're kind of forgetting what actually made them big- just plain ol' search. Hopefully the Google bubble will burst, soon. :) Runescaper (off and on) since late 2001
dusqi
Why 'hopefully it will burst'? I admire Google's vision and hope that they continue to do good things for information distribution. For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one.
Bubsa
I am seriously thinking that these are the beginnings of world domination. Google is taking over. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

I admire Google's vision and hope that they continue to do good things for information distribution. Because, they are trying to take over everything, google is like teh wal-mart of the internet. Besides, there's so much hype about google, I've just about had enough of hearing about it ;) Runescaper (off and on) since late 2001

Google on the other hand is the 'Target'. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
Adam007
Why 'hopefully it will burst'? Besides, there's so much hype about google, I've just about had enough of hearing about it ;) How can it be taking over if they're distributing them for free as opposed to the normal services that people have to pay for? By breaking that 'pay to get it' boundary, it not only creates better competition, it just helps everyone out. They're not really taking over things anyways. Much of what they've released has been on pretty new ground, like the original search engine obviously, but also google maps, google earth, and more stuff I can't think of right now. Surely that hype can't be unwarranted? (edit) - Now they're going into the radio business: http://www.2loop.com/articles/google.htm
