November 22, 201114 yr I have been having more and more lag, mostly starting with the update that came with the bot nuke. Every new update it seems I just get laggier than before. I've used task manager to end process's that weren't in use, and at any given point the only thing I have up is RS, but no matter what my computer is still at full cpu usage. For the record I'm running XP SP3. I've also done defrag/disk cleanup but those didnt help. Any tips?
November 22, 201114 yr Fault is at Jagex's end with the RuneScape Java Applet itself. You're hosed until they fix it. End of Story. <_< ~Mr. D. V. And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
November 22, 201114 yr Deleting the runescape cache helped for me, you can try that. I used to lag and crash occasionally as well but deleting the cache kind of helped.
