If Jagex made you enter your conact details when you make new accounts, this could help them stamp down on autoers. I hear you asking how? Let me explain. Let's say there is someone who keeps getting banned for autoing. He doesn't mind. He can just make a new account. What's this? Jagex wants you to add your contact details. No matter, he'll just make up a name. Now apparently, there are currently 15 people living at his house who use RuneScape. In suspicious cases like this Jagex could IP ban him. One less autoer. Now I also hear you saying about brothers and sisters. Well I currently don't ave any immediate ideas how this could be remedied. When writing your comments, please bear this in mind. Other people's IPs change constantly everytime they connect to the internet. Thus rendering IP bans useless. And to the contact details, they already make you enter your e-mail address.
