Warlover

Recommended Posts

A shifty, sunburnt sculptor called Lazim wants your help to build a statue in the desert south of the Bandit Camp. Does his choice of location have something to do with the ruins nearby, and why does he react so oddly to the mention of camels?

Use your cunning and experience to delve into RuneScape's hidden past, and discover the reason for Enakhra's Lament

Minimum requirements:

Level 50 Crafting

Level 45 Firemaking

Level 43 Prayer

Level 39 Magic

Enakhra's Lament

Lazim the sculptor has a sad tale to tell - his days of making art are over, and now all he can do is carp at adventurers as they make a statue for him in the desert. Although, isn't just south of the Bandit Camp an odd place to be putting up a statue?

Help Lazim out with his artistic endeavours, and learn more as this quest goes deeper into the history of RuneScape than you might expect...

Items needed

1 Pickaxe

1 chisel

1 soft clay (there is a fountain in quest that you can get water from)

1 Tinderbox

1 Normal log

1 Oak log

1 willow log

1 Maple log

1 Coal

1 Candle

1 cake

Runes for 1 Air Bolt, 1 Fire Bolt and 1 Crumble Undead

1. Head south of bedabin camp till you get to a cliff, Lanzim is on the other side.

2. He tells you he needs 32kg of sandstone, go to the quarry just south-west and mine it. (Rumour: You may be able to get coal and clay here)

3. Give him the 32kg's of sandstone and he will give you a single piece weighing 32kg, use your chisel on this.

4. Lazim tells you to place the Base on the flat ground next to him, do so and talk to him again.

5. This time you need 20kg of sandstone, mine it and give it to him. He will give you a piece that you need to chisel, do so and use the body on the base.

6. Now you have a statues body, use your chisel on it and then talk to lazim.

7. He tells you too make the head, choose to make a camels head

8. He tells you too make a head out of Granite, you need to mine one medium piece but get 2 as you will need the 2nd piece later on.

9. Use the chisel on the sandstone and choose camels head. Use the head on the statue, Lazim interferes but if you sed camel to which head you want he'll let you put it on.

10. The floor collapses and you fall through into a temple, talk to lazim then use your pickaxe on the statue to get the limbs off it.

11.Go through the outer doors using the statues limb on each door in turn, for every limb that is put in the door you will see a cutscene of the temples past. MAKE SURE TOO PICK UP THE SIGILS OFF THE PEDISTALS IN EACH ROOM

12. Go through one of the doors to the centre using the sigils and go up the ladder, here there are 4 rooms that need sorting out. There is a pedestal in the middle of the main chamber, use your soft clay on this to get a camel head (p)

13. Go through the far left one and cast fire bolt on the frozen fountain

14. The north-west room has a solider frozen, talk to him then use the cake on him, he hints at what to do in each room.

15. The North West room requires you to cast air bolt on the furnace.

16. Last but not least the far right room, in this room you need to inspect each brazzard and use the item it mentions on it, when all 6 are lit go back to lazim.

17. Get the statues head off him and go back to the 2nd floor, use the statues head on the pedestal then go back to lazim and tell him it doesnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t fit, he tells you to get a mould (which we have made by using the clay on the pedestal) and make a head in that shape from granite again.

18. Go back to the pedestal, since we already should have the granite, use your chisel on it to get another camels head and use this on the pedestal.

19. You should now be able to go through the magic portal to the north. Go through it and up the ladder.

20. Walk into the room and cast crumble undead on the bone guardian, climb over his bones. Then go down the ladder.

21. Turn on PROTECTION FROM MELEE and talk to the Bone guardian, he is impressed by this and asks you to repair the wall for him, you can find out how by talking to him.

22. After the walls complete there is a groovy cut scene and you get the Camulet. well done you've finished the quest!!

DO NOT USE A GUIDE! IT SPOILS THE FUN! :) Thanks for the help, however.

There will always be people who will want a guide rather than working it out on there own, i prefer a mixture of both
