I'm looking for some tips on pixel sigs.

Featured Replies

See, i want to try my hand at pixel sigs, but i don't know where to start. besides, the wonderful sig Shaw made me for another forum is too big for the limits here. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on starting/making a pixel sig.

Thanx,

try by making simple things. including:

-clouds

-sun

-anything else in the sky

then next try:

-moutains

-rivers, lakes, other bodies of water

after that try:

-people

-shading

-anything else out in the world

in might take a while to master these. but they will make your sigs look good.

I lowered the size of your other one so you can use it while you're experimenting with pixel sigs.

Good luck. ;)

Shading and zooming out are the two most important things in pixel sigs.

What kind of Pixel work do you want to do..Iso, or Non.

I'm pretty good with Iso, that's where it's at!

Alot of people just "doodle" with antialiasing turned off... Technically pixel art, but not really. Some of you guys have gotten really good at it though, and are doing it right. :)

Isometric pixel art is boring.
