You outhit the healers through lucky swift gloves and high hits, not something that you should count on and certainly not a 'method'. This is basically SoA - 50% of the power. To answer your question: outhitting healers with Ranged has not been possible until recent past 5 months. I used dreadnips in video so it may just been luck (then again i summoned dread nip when Jad had 2/13 hp left so). And before SoA there was Dharok, and i used it to outhit healers.
