May sound stupid but this is driving me mad.

 

I have in my house a workshop, in my workshop I have an Oak workbench.

 

I have the materials to upgrade the bench but how ?

 

If I remove the Oak bench, then choose to build the next one up, even though I have the right

materials It has a red cross on the one I want to build, I have the right level.

 

EDIT: No idea what I was doing, but all is OK now.

You don;t remove it, you right click then it has 'upgrade' (might be 'build') and clicking that brings up the usual interface to allow you to build over it with the next bench up.
