I am new.I made a sig.It sucked.Tell me,what is "shading".thx.

Maybe it'd be a good idea for you to go out and draw from observation, look up images on the internet and try draw them to practice mimicing the contours seen in real life, learning perspective and further knowledge on colours and texture..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are some great tutorials out there, books that can teach you certain techniques, even better do you know anyone who can show you? because if your just reading it your basically copying what the writer is doing, and if your doing it on your own you may find it difficult learning to shade efficiently, quickly.. My teachers great, refuses to just tell us to do something and get on with it, he actually shows us exactly how we can achieve what we want..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

btw if you can't draw in real life there won't be much luck for you drawing on the computer, the same rules apply
