I figured this would be a nice little addition for the hopeful musicians out there! Hopefully it'll take off a bit, just as a place to discuss your home recording/mixing adventures or whatnot

 

Post your personal recordings here for the world (or at least tipiters) to give a listen to! And of course I wouldn't start a thread off without posting any of my own..

 

I now record with Native Instruments Guitar Rig for all my effects and Toontrack EZDrummer for the drum tracks.

Just made that up yesterday, I wanted to try out screaming a bit and I'd like to think it came out pretty well (besides that singing :P)

Working on a cover of A Day to Remember's Mr. Highway's Thinking About the End now, I tracked all the guitars and basses last night, maybe doing vocals today :P. I experimented with quad tracking as well, everything sounds so heavy :o.
