The Fight Cave Waves

Featured Replies

Every guide about getting the Fire Cape is about killing Jad, but I have no idea how to beat the 63 waves.

My stats are 90atk, 96str, 80def *, 99magic, 86range, 95prayer, 69herblore.

*I can get 85 defence if needed.

Honestly, it looks hard, but even my junior has passed me up and is already getting his second fire cape. Is it really that easy? I hear people use only like one brew or one potion to get the Jad, how is that possible? The little flying monsters drain prayer don't they?

Err, my question is, what should I use? I don't have extremes and my range isn't that great.

seeing as you are 99 mage try full gano for the absorb abilities and pps/soa for the waves/jad.

Edit: read below :)

Glacors Drops - 33 shards.

Armadyl Drops - 1 Chestplate. 1 Hilt. 2 gloves . 2 Skirts.

Polypore and Gano, it is really worth getting the levels for, although the range defense is a hinderance on waves with 360's and 90's.

The basic layout for the waves is like so, each letter represents a different monster:

A

AA

B

BA

BAA

BB

C

CA

CAA

CB

CBA

CBAA

CBB

CC

D

etc....

The waves basically stack up, with those stats you'll have no problem getting to Jad, just stay in the south west (I think, clearly visible on a map), there's a little outcrop that allows you to trap all spawns, aside from one. This can be extremely helpful, and it reduces supplies used by a ton. I got to wave 59 at 80 magic and 1 defense on my pure, hardly used any brews. Only died because the Polypore staff has a short attack range, it is really worth bringing blood spells to get monsters in the southern spot, as attacking with the pps makes you step out of the safespot, which can hurt if you have your prayer off.

Barrows drops: Dharok's helm x2, Guthan's helm, Ahrim's top, Hood and skirt, Torag's hammers, Karils skirt, Karil's top, Torag's helm, Verac's skirt, Verac's Flail, Dharok's Platebody.

Dag kings drops: Lost count! :wall:

4k+ Glacors, 7 Ragefires, 4 Steadfasts, 4 Glaivens, 400+ shards![/hide]

It's much easier than you'd think, I used EEE to heal overloads and ss flashing and got there using no brews, with gano+polypore. Just kill 22>90>360>180>45. Still pray mage when 360's are alive and don't get meleed by them by using the southwest? spot (the old italty's boot). I also brought a arma staff + 100 runes for jad which made it much easier for me, used about 20 runes max on jad both times i killed him.
