If I can make money at a rate of 3m/hr and I do not plan to get the Completionist cape and I am farming Torstol is the time spent getting remote farm worth it?

It takes 16.5 hours to get remote farm, that's 49.75m gp.

 

Remote farm decreases the death rate from ~10% to 0%, assuming you use it right. That makes the average herb run yield 46.6 herbs versus 42.9. You save 3.7 herbs per run, or 104.3k gp.

 

You would need to do 477 herb runs to make it worth it, at current prices.

You might as well take tele to trollheim into consideration as well. That saves around a minute of running.

If I get around to it, I'll make a more accurate calculation, but Trollheim Tele will probably be left out since idk how much time it saves, exactly.
