No one at the jagex forums seems to know what's wrong.

 

Long story short, if I choose opengl or direct x I get a white screen, black screen or a crash. I've tried all three browsers and the client. I've done all the normal stuff they ask like getting java 6, drivers, restarting, cache, etc. Even reformatted.

 

Can anyone out there help? Safe mode really isn't playable. My graphics card is a geforce 6200 and I have 1024 ram.

Can't really help much, but Java is currently on Version 7, Update 5.

 

Personally, I would look into upgrading your RAM. It's really cheap nowadays. Here is a good starting point.
