Is there a maximum amount of time it can be held for them, or does it depend on how long they held the name for? October 5, 201213 yr There's all sorts of factors going on.If the name is the original account name it is held for aaaggggeeeeees, relative to how long they've had the name.If the account is in the top 20k(?) or so hiscores the original account name is perma-held.
