Chwish
Hey all. I've been lurking for quite some time and finally have a question. It has always been my plan to get a Tokharr cape in the near future. Now, with the EoC being announced for the 20th, I was wondering if anyone had attempted the Kiln in the Beta. If you have, I'm hoping you might be able to answer my questions. 1. Overall is it harder or easier after the EoC? 2. Does it require more advanced/different gear OR tactics after the EoC? 3. Are Ovls/Turm/SS still useful for the Kiln after EoC? I ask because I have access to Ovls but my prayer is only 83 and I lack the cash to train it. Thus I guess this question is really; is 92/95 prayer a necessity for completing the Kiln after the EoC? 4. How does the cape rank up against other capes in EoC? 5. How do dreadnips/familiars factor in after EoC? Would a war tort/unicorn combo be the best for someone with 91 summon? Also, I'm 200 bosses away from dreadnips, are they useful enough to warrant getting them now? Thanks!
Shady Character
I asked this Question over the summer so i can tell u what I found out.... (though changes might have been made since then so might not be the most accurate.) 1. in EoC Kiln will be harder because protection prayers only cover 50% damage. 2. Cant say much to this. However I believe gear should be the same. though switching gears may slow u down now some but whereas u will be killing them faster due to abilities. 3. Im gonna say they are usefull but not neccisary. (complete guess :P ) 4. 2nd best meele cape. first being comp. (gives +3% crit) 5. like with higher pray, dreadnips will definatly help. Probly not necissary though.war tort and uni should be fine.... I recomend just hoppin on the beta to test it out without wasteing any pots and what not. hope I could help u a bit and good luck :) Quest cape since Jan. 30th, '
