  1. Any particular reason for the rush? If there isn't, I'd say do Slayer. Still quite fast XP but you get the Slayer XP as well.
  2. Yes, although I don't last nearly as long as before. Vamp aura helps a bunch.
  3. Can definitely Barrage Bandos in Ganodermic, I do it. (before i got SS)
  4. For me, enduring always dies first as long as its the one that your select to attack. Also, unstable explodes maybe 1/20 kills for me using Treachery/Grifolic Orb.
  5. Or a rapier is fine. Chaotics even have enough accuracy to melee things that aren't weak to melee if you really want to. I only have a rapier and EEE (which I now need to replace) and I tear through all melee slayer tasks.
  6. To speak about weaknesses, chaotics have enough accuracy that you can essentially ignore slayer monster weaknesses and be fine, even if they're weak to mage or range. Once you get higher tier weapons, you can use whatever style you want really, although barraging is generally the fastest.
  7. I cant get blood barrage. Boosting doesnt work either. I wanted to blood barrage, but couldn't when boosted, so I went with rock barrage and a bunyip. I've done it twice, once w/ vampire aura and once w/o it and only needed a couple pieces of food when I don't use it.
  8. I've been hearing about how you should barrage just about every task, except for metal dragons, which you should drygore. However, I don't have drygores, so which would be faster? (I have super antis) Melee: Chaotic Rapier + EEE w/ abilities or Mage: 1. Wand of Treachery + Grifolic Orb w/ Water Surge + Abilities 2. SOL/Polypore w/ Water Surge + Abilities 3. Wand of Treachery + Grifolic Orb w/ Rock Barrage + Momentum 4. SOL/Polypore w/ Water Surge w/ Rock Barrage + Momentum Thanks!
  9. I was attempting with a staff earlier, so I only had mainhand.
  10. Has anyone discovered a fix to this? I'm experiencing the same issue.
  11. I literally ran around spamming fires until I had a decent amount (6+, at one point I had like 11), then just attack Char until the fires start to die out. I used black knives and iron knives as an offhand because they were in my bank, fast, and ranged. Char melee'd me a few times and even hit me with her special when I got lazy, but never actually came close to killing me.
  12. I think, but I'm not sure, that killing speed has been increased so much by EOC that cannon is no longer really worth the cost. I think it's still useful, just not really necessary for fast Slayer.

  15. I completely forgot about slayer helm... I'm assuming that since dual wielding was suggested that means the way dual wield/2h functions has changed?
  16. I'm recently returning and now have no idea what weapons/armor to use anymore. Currently I have: Weapons: C Maul C Rapier Polypore/Staff of Light Nothing worth mentioning for range Armor: All void sets Veracs top/bottom Gano Karil's What should I work on getting to improve? Is it possible to use void everywhere? Is it possible to mage/melee tasks that are range weak? I'm 99 range so I'd rather get the xp in Melee/mage Also, when I left, dual wielding was worse than 2h because of the way abilities worked. Has that changed at all? Thanks!!   17. I use a Z Spear at Frosts to great effect. I usually have no issues killing them before they start reflecting damage.
  18. @cruseder4 Not exactly. There are 5 trade good types and 6 adventurers, so (by my theory) 1 would have to be a repeat. It wouldn't surprise me if it was ancient bones, seeing as how many scrimshaws there are, compared to 3 pieces of each armor set and only 1 new food.
  19. I reread my post and realized that is what I said, but not what I meant to say haha. I guess I meant, does each adventurer give one specific trade good (i.e. Occultist=chi globes, nothing else. Biologist=ancient bones, nothing else.) or can each adventurer give them all.
  20. Just wondering if anyone has received missions for different trade goods from the same adventurer? For example, I have only received Ancient Bones from the Biologist (which is the only one I have access to, so I can't check). I know my brother has only gotten chi gloves from the occultist. If this is true, this could be another use for the things that attract adventurers. If one wanted to make melee armor, they would have to attract whatever gives plates, ect.
  21. I'm interested in Solo/Duo Sara GWD, and I have a few questions that I'm hoping I could get some help with. 1. Staff vs. Wand+Offhand vs. Wand+Shield? 2. If I don't have soul split and I'm wearing Ganodermic, what should I pray? 3. I have Reverance, Penance, and Vampirism, which would be best to use? In case its useful, my relevant stats: 88 Magic 83 Prayer 92 Herb (With Ovls) 85 Def 98 Constitution I have access to Ganodermic, SOL, Arc Stream. I could get a wand, although are they still majorly expensive? Thanks! Edit: Forgot to mention, I have 94 summon and I'm going for 96 w/festive. What familiar should I be using?
  22. I'm curious about this method too, do you use momentum or abilities? I'm assuming momentum?

I believe (and I haven't expanded the territory I can venture to yet so don't quote me on this) that just by simply doing missions (especially, or possibly only, those that reveal new territory, like the cyclops one) your percentage of the are you're exploring will increase. This can be seen on the map. I'm assuming once you reach 100%, you'll be able to just move onto the next area.
