How is combat different? I still haven't tried it. What other effects is it having on my beloved runescape?

Powerfishing and powermining are moderately faster due to dropping via the action bar. You also have more lifepoints as well as hit higher. There are no more special attacks. I would visit the RS front page and scroll through the first few pages of news posts for videos.
