November 30, 201213 yr As tormented wraiths (the ones located in the spirit realm using Jennica's Ring at the Dark Warrior's Fortress) are not worth killing, I decided to pay a little visit to them. Their weakness states they're weak to bolts, but since only black weapons can hurt them and black bolts from level 1 clue scrolls don't work on them, its quite contradicting. Is this deliberate? Many one of the few monsters that forces you to utilizes other methods of attacks to kill them. November 30, 201213 yr Best to submit a bug report about that, unless Jagex intentionally wanted the Tormented wraith to be so hard to kill :PHow about Black Knives/Darts? Being ranged weapons, those should be pretty close in terms of accuracy. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

Its only ironic that they would make a monster weak to bolts, but no bolts suitable that can harm them. Might hit up a bug report for Jagex later. November 30, 201213 yr Don't you still need to wear black melee armor? That would give a tremendous accuracy penalty, and the wraith's magic attacks would tear you to pieces.It may be better to ask jagex to redesign it rather then tweak its weakness over to "thrown". As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero. Ensure you are not a social situation.
November 30, 201213 yr Maybe it's supposed to be that hard, since it got screwed over in the first place being reduced to level 60 because you had to fight it with level 25 gear. Jagex moves in odd ways. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
