Okay here are the options, I just want them In an order of how good they are please... Don't have much time. 1 being the best and 3 being the worst.

 

 

Ranged:

Magic Shortbow

Dual Rune Crossbows

2H Rune Crossbow

 

Melee:

Dual Rune Scimitars

Abbysal Whip + Shield

Abbysal Whip + Off-hand Rune Scimmy

 

BEAR IN MIND THE PRICE AND I WILL BE RISKING.

It entirely depends what for.

 

In terms of pure dps Whip + scimmy would be the best slash setup of the lot.

Whip and shield and dual scimmys are probably pretty onpar.

 

For the ranged choices

Magic shortbow is the best arrow setup, being the only one there.

Dual cbows is the best bolt setup.

Magic Shortbow + Rune Arrows = (463 + 480 + 99)/3s = 347.33 damage per second

Magic Shortbow + Broad Arrows = (463 + 528 + 99)/3s = 363.33 damage per second

Dual Rune Xbow + Broad-bolts/Rune Bolts = (0 + 480 + 99 + 0 + 240 + 50)/2.4s = 362.08 damage per second

Rune 2H Xbow + Broad-bolts/Rune Bolts = (662 + 480 + 99)/3.6s = 344.72 damage per second

 

Dual Rune Scimitars = (480 + 99 + 240 + 50)/2,4s = 362.08 damage per second

Abyssal Whip = (672 + 99)/2.4s = 321.25 damage per second

Abyssal Whip + Scimitar = (672 + 99 + 240 + 50)/2.4s = 442.08 damage per second

 

Generally

- If your skill level is lower 2H are a better option, if it's higher - DW.

- If you want to use momentum - DW, if you want to use abilities - DW

- If the weapon has a higher level requirement - use it instead of the lower one (Whip vs Scimmy)

 

A personal opinion

- Try to get EEE for an offhand

- Get Black salamander + Harralander Tar (the tar is up in price recently but if you're patient you can get it for 40 ea) IF you have the money and/or lack the Ava "capes"
