Hey rilo, Casper (ya know me) i have one that i found usefull.

 

Small team nex guide

 

The way you kill Nex now has changed a lot, first of all you mage her in stead of range. Here is a quick guide for small teams. This guide is recommended for 4-6 man teams.

 

~~ Attacker Gear: ~~

 

Helm: Virtus / Gano

Amulet: Arcane stream / hiss of saradomin

Body: Virtus / gano

Legs: Virtus / gano

Boots: Ragefire boots

Gloves: Gano / Virtus / Barrow

Ring: Onyx (i)

Shield: arcane / farseer

Weapon: Master / Virtus wand

Weapon when not taking much damage: Chaotic staff / armadyl battlestaff

Weapon for minions: Royal cbow

Bolts: Royal bolts

Familiar: Unicorn Stallion

Aura: Penance / Reverance / Runic accuracy / Equilibrium

Cape: God cape / comp cape / trim comp cape / max cape / spirit cape

 

~~ Attacker Inventory: ~~

 

- 2 overload flasks

- 2 prayer renewal flasks

- dreadnips (for reavers / minions)

- Sanfew serum flask / antipoison++

- Unicorn scrolls

- Air runes (10k+)

- 7-8 prayer / restore / super prayer flasks

- 12~ rocktails

- 1 brew for panic

 

~~ Tanker Gear: ~~

- 10-12 prayer / restore / super prayer flasks

~~ Recommended Attacker actionbar / abilities ~~

You can swap between abilities but i recommend not to use any DoT (Damage over Time) abilities if you're not that experienced with abilities / nex yet.

 

~~ Recommended Tanker actionbar / abilities ~~

You can swap between abilities but remember that you're a tanker and will be receiving a lot of damage if you're using attacker abilities.

 

 

IT IS POSSIBLE TO SWITCH TANKS AND JUST ALL TAKE A PACK YAK, JUST MAKE SURE YOU STILL BRING SECONDARY MAGIC WEAPON AND HAVE A TANK + ATTACKER ACTION BAR SET-UP

~~ Guide for killing: ~~

 

I will explain this phase by phase to start off with the smoke phase.

 

~~ Smoke Phase ~~

 

Basic info:

 

Prayer --> Mage pray + torment

place to stand --> entrance

 

First of all you pot and pray (torment + mage prayer) when you go in and stay at the stairs spot which was used for the bloodphase and mage nex. You can now use the ''freedom'' abbility to remove any stuns / poisons gotten from nex. When nex calls ''there is no escape'' you run off the bridges to make sure you won't be harmed. When she calls ''Fumus don't fail me'' you pull out your royal cbow and use anguish prayer + summon a dreadnip to poison the minion. When Fumus is killed you can tag nex to shadow phase.

 

~~ Shadow Phase ~~

 

Basic info:

 

Prayer --> soulsplit / range pray + torment

Place to stand --> random

 

When nex is tagged into the shadow phase you will pray range or soulsplit and torment and start maging nex again, make sure you're not to close to hear because the closer you are to Nex the harder her range attacks will hit you. The shadow phase is practically the same as before. Once Nex spawns black shadow spots just move off them to avoid damage. When nex calls ''Umbra don't fail me'' you pull out your royal cbow and use anguish prayer + summon a dreadnip to poison the minion. When Umbra is killed you can tag nex to blood phase.

 

The person who is getting tanked by nex is luring her to the stairs / glacies. Put your range prayer on and wait untill they say you can tag Nex.

 

~~ Blood Phase ~~

 

Basic info Attackers:

 

Prayer --> Mage pray / soulsplit + Torment

Place to stand --> as close as possible to nex

Dreadnips --> On a reaver at all time during bloodphase

 

Basic info Tanker:

 

Prayer --> Mage pray + Torment

Place to stand --> Far enough from nex to get her on you and her attacks dont reach attackers

Dreadnips --> On a reaver at all time unless you're to far away

 

NEVER USE BLEEDING / DAMAGE OVER TIME ABILITIES AT BLOODPHASE, THEY WILL HEAL NEX AT SIPHON!!

 

When nex is tagged to bloodphase everyone will get close to nex and take your dreadnips out on the reavers, make sure you attack reavers when you want to summon a dreadnip otherwise it will go on nex. Once Nex is tagged to bloodphase the tanker is gonna stand out with shield + wand on. The siphons / nex attacks are all the same as before. 5 attacks after Nex has demanded a blood sacrifice (she will crouch down and stat to glow)you stop attacking nex and get ready to hit reavers at least 2x with mage and summon a dreadnip. Use as many threshold abilities and Ultimate abilities on Nex as possible to deal maximal damage. Some teams find it easir to have one or 2 people just focus on the reavers while the others focus on taking nex down. A phase if done corectly, can be done with only one siphon. When nex calls ''Cruor dont fail me'' you pull out your royal cbow and use anguish prayer + summon a dreadnip to poison the minion. When Cruor is killed you can tag nex to ice phase.

 

~~ Ice Phase ~~

 

Basic info:

 

Prayer --> attacker: Mage pray + Torment --> Tanker: Melee pray / Mage pray + Torment

Place to stand --> Melee Distance

 

Once Nex is tagged to ice phase it's basically the same as before just the tanker can protect melee now when he's getting attacked by Nex with melee attacks. You can free yourself from any stuns now with the ''freedom'' ability. You just mage nex again all the way. The only things that have changed at ice phase is the ice prison, once you're trapped in an ice prison and someone destroys a ice pillar you do not have to walk out again. Also to save up once you're trapped in an ice prison you will have to use the ''freedom'' ability. Otherwise you will not be able to eat. Once nex calls ''Glacies dont fail me'' you pull out your royal cbow and use anguish prayer + summon a dreadnip to poison the minion. When Glacies is killed you can tag nex to Zaros phase.

 

~~ Zaros Phase ~~

 

Prayer --> Attacker: Soul Split / Mage pray + torment --> Tanker: Melee pray / Mage pray + Torment

Place to stand --> Melee Distance

 

When Nex is tagged to Zaros Phase stay melee distance and keep using your defence / basic / threshold / ultimate abilities to kill nex pretty fast. When nex calls ''Taste my wrath'' run away from nex and GZ on L00t.!

~~ Tips and Tricks ~~

 

- Use regenerate abilitie (key 1 at both action bars) to heal from your Adrenaline right after nex died / rest phase

- You can set-up a 2nd actionbar with range abilities for the minions

- You can quick switch to another action bar by ''shift + number of actionbar''
