  1. Hey all. Iv recently decided to quit runescape, as iv been finding it very hard to want to play, so i have quit. As such, i wont be hosting any more events for the Tip.It monster hunting team, but im 100% sure they will have some amazing events lined up. It has been an awesome run, and alot of ups and downs, but i feel this is the time to say enough. Kree'arra Many believe Armadyl is one of the hardest God Wars bosses in RuneScape simply because it is one of the most profitable. However it's quite the contrary. Given the right gear and a good team, Armadyl is by far the easiest boss you'll ever slay. It's easy, relaxing, and a great place to hang out and have a good time. The boss will attack with a deadly ranged attack as well as a secondary magic attack, so a high magic defense is recommended as you'll be praying ranged. He attacks and will focus on the person dealing the highest damage so long as they are in combat with him. He attacks everybody with each attack, but while not in combat he'll melee the player with the highest damage who last attacked him. The minions will also remain on the player with the highest damage who last attacked Kree'arra. Inventory & Equipment All set-ups should either bring a Beast of burden (such as a Pack yak/War tortoise/Spirit Terrorbird) carrying rocktails / sharks OR use a healing familiar such as a Unicorn stallion or Elemental titan. Overloads can be downgraded to ranging / super ranging potions, You can only range / mage Kree'arra, and melee is impossible, so it is recomended to range kree. Magic users should use Protect from Ranged while the boss and minions are alive. The robes can be upgraded/downgraded as desired. The Storm of Armadyl spell can be downgraded to the Polypore staff for a cheaper alternative, Do not forget your armadyl and zamorak items to keep you safe through out KC. Ranged users should use Protect from Ranged while the boss and minions are alive. The crossbow can be substituted for a Hand cannon for those with high firemaking, however additional cannons should be brought, Do not forget your armadyl and zamorak items to keep you safe through out KC.   6. After many hours (Til 1AM for me) And a couple of deaths *shifty face* it wasnt me, or stev, we didnt die honest, seriously, believe me!!! We decided to end it after 4 hour run. Loots were, Arma Chainskirt, Godsword Shard 3, and Godsword Shard 2. Thanks all for coming, was a giggle :D

  8. If im correct in thinking, it would be sunday the 17th of march at 6am for Brisbane, dont quote me on that though =/ Anyone confirm? Subjugation will be ok with ancients, id suggest bloodfie barrage (So as to heal yourself) but remember your armadyl item for killcount. If ranging, full arma is ideal, and black salamander is good here to (or CCB with EEK), Remember a Zammy item for kc if taking this route :}

  10. Anti-Poisons are of course, your own choice, some people prefer to use them. If baraging, then you will barely notice the poison damage :} TMHT members will be there with cure runes just in case any way ^.^

You will need 40 Zamorak killcount to enter the boss room, so be sure to plan time to do this before the event is scheduled to begin. Killcount can be had on low level monsters such as imps. See the tip.it Zamorak guide for more information. Coinshare will be enabled for the whole event. The world will be specified at the time of the event. K'ril Tsutsaroth K'ril is one of the highest level monsters in the God Wars dungeon, and should not be underestimated. He will focus on targets in front of him, and attack them with melee and magic, so at least one of these attacks should be blocked by a protect prayer. If you use Protect from Magic/Deflect Magic, he will occasionally use a melee attack which hits through prayer, dealing unblockable damage and draining a few prayer points. Additionally he can also poison his target, meaning anti-poison potions are a must. See his bestiary entry for more information. There will be TMHT members at the event who are prepared to act as the 'tank' so it is advised to let them engage K'ril first. All other players in the room will not come under attack by K'ril, however his minions can still pose a threat, so it is suggested to use Protect from Magic (if wearing melee armor) or Protect from Ranged (if wearing ranged or mage armor) while they are alive. After K'ril has been killed, the minions should be finished off in this order; Balfrug Kreeyath (while praying magic), Tstanon Karlak (praying melee), and finally Zakl’n Gritch (praying ranged). Inventory & Equipment All set-ups should either bring a Beast of burden (such as a Pack yak/War tortoise/Spirit Terrorbird) carrying food OR use a healing familiar such as a Unicorn stallion or Elemental titan. Overloads can be downgraded to the appropriate boosting potions for your style. Antipoison potions are only required if you intend to tank K'ril, and there will be a TMHT member on standby with Cure runes incase anyone accidentally gets poisoned. Melee users should use Protect from Magic while the boss and minions are alive. Bandos armor is suggested. A void set-up is for those who are confident in their healing options and/or soul split flashing. Remember a Zamorak arrow to keep you protected during kilcount. Magic users should use Protect from Ranged while the boss and minions are alive. it is suggested to use Subjugation magic armor, as this doesn't degrade, and also counts as a zamorak item for killcount, but it can be upgraded/downgraded as desired. Kril's weakness is fire spells, but you can also use a Polypore staff as an alternative. Once again, remember a Zamorak arrow for killcount. Ranged users should use Protect from Ranged while the boss and minions are alive. The crossbow/ Bow can be substituted for a Hand cannon for those with high firemaking, however additional cannons should be brought, armadyl armor or dragonhides should be used as a replacement for void, and an alternative weapon will be required to get killcount. Remember to bring a Zamorac item for switch during killcount.   13. So, after a while, and tweaking some set ups, here is what myself and my team have found to be an optimal set up. Fair warning, this does not come cheap, but the drops will more than make it back for you :D There are 3 diffferent stages, which are indicated by the kings wings. Be sure to protect against these styles. The King: Lets get you prepared. Melee - As shown by ORANGE wings. There are 3 attacks, as follows. 1: Standard attack,This attack has a bleeding attack similar to Slaughter, dealing 3x damage when moving. This is possibly one of the most dangerous attacks as even with Protection prayers, players will find themselves being hit for 2000+ damage. 2: The King charges for a few seconds and then rushes forward, pushing everyone in the way into the wall. This attack, though melee, occurs in the melee and ranging phases. You can avoid this by simply running out of his path. 3: The king stomps and produces a shock wave. Players within the melee range will be hit and pushed back. In addition, their defence level will be reduced by a small amount RANGE - As shown by GREEN wings. There are once again, 3 attacks, as follows. 1: The king will fire an attack that looks like KQ's ranged attack. This attack will cause a damage over time effect similar to the Fragmentation Shot ability, including taking 3x damage when moving. This attack is usually used together with the Stun Darts. 2: The king will fire stun darts at a group of players, which will have a chance to stun them. These stuns can last up to 20 seconds, and can prove fatal if the king switches phases. 3: The king fires an incendiary shot to everyone in range, which will explode after a few seconds that will hit for a massive damage of around 1000-3000 lp. This attack also drains your prayer. It can be blocked with barricade MAGE - As shown by BLUE wings. There are only 2 atacks in this phase. 1: Blue Orbs, The king will shoot numerous blue energy circles to everyone in range for up to 3000 damage and possibly a stun. However, the circles will target on the ground instead of the player, so players can avoid damage by moving away before the circle lands. 2: Green Orbs, The king will launch some greenish-yellow circles at the players' squares that slowly levitate and explode. The circles will hit multiple players in range which can also stun them. This attack could be very fatal if the player is hit by multiple circles. If stunned, use freedom and run to evade these. ONE HIT K.O- Here he aims for a player, and spits a ball of green gloop at them. This freezes them, and resets cooldown timer for freedom. If not prevented via a team mate, the king will one hit you. The way to save yourself from death, is have a teammte use the Provoke ability, followed by Resonance / Immortality / Barricade. Digging - At random points, he will dig hiself into the ground, briefly disappearing from the battle. At this time, he is burrowing under the person who was tanking. Keep moving (preferably to an area clear of marauders), else if he re-surfaces, and you are on top of him, you can be hit for 1500 lp upwards. Marauders - He also spawns Exiled Maruaders. This is unavoidable, who will hit you with magic attacks. When they spawn underneath you, you will be hit for roughly 500 lp per one that spawned underneath you. Red Aura - The king will sometimes be engulfed inside a red aura, when this happens, any damage he deals will heal him. If he kills someone during this, it will heal him by 24000 lp. Just keep the pressure up, and stay alive. GREEN AURA - The king will also sometimes engulf hiself in a green aura, during this time, any incoming damage will heal him, much like the Siphon stage of Nex's Blood phase. Simply stop attacking til the aura has gone. Auras last between 5-10 seconds, but he may sometimes spam these auras. Keep your eyes out for them Each phase is fairly easy, but is difficult to the unaware player. Be sure to watch the kings wings for your prayers, keep your health reletivly high, and keep up the damage. He may be the only boss to use ultimate attacks on you, but these can be avoided. Any damage over time abilities, you can stop by using the ability, freedom. Gear, Abilities and Roles: Tanker. Tankers role is simple, keep your team alive!!! Usually you have 2 tankers, one to take the damage, and one to provoke when the time is right (Followed by resonance, or the other life saving abilities, like immortality or barricade, which will block ALL incoming damage for ten seconds.) This is possible with only one tank, and get the attackers to tank the hits. Gear: This is what most tankers use. 9 times out of 10, they are maging, so here is a handy set up Helm: Virtus Mask / Ganodermic Visor Top: Virtus Robe Top / Ganodermic Poncho Bottoms: Virtus Robe Bottom / Ganodermic Leggings Gloves: Virtus Gloves or Spellcasters (Remember, virtus has a set effect, this includes the gloves) / Ganodermic Gloves / Barrows Gloves Boots: Virtus Boots or Ragefire Boots (Same applies to the boots, Virtus Boots required for the set effects) / Ganodermic Boots / Infinity Boots Shield: FSK / Arcane Spirit Shield / Spectral Spirit Shield / Ward of Subjugation Wand: Virtus Wand / Ahrims Wand / Master Wand Amulet: ASN / Saradomins Hiss / Amulet of Fury / Amulet of Glory Ring: Seers Ring i or Onyx Ring i / Seers Ring/ Ring of Life Cape: God Cape (or completionist / max cape) / Skill Cape / Cape of Legends. Inventory: Runes for fire surge, or bloodfire barrage / blitz, 1 overload flask, 1 prayer renewal flask, Healing Aura scrolls (roughly 1k will do), 3 prayer potion flasks, rest in rocktails. Familiar: Unicorn Here is a picture of an OPTIMAL set up As said previously your main job is to keep your team ALIVE! The attackers are the ones who will be causing the most damage during the battle. When a team mate turns green (As shown by the King rearing back, and spitting a ball at a player) You Provoke, quickly followed by resonance, immortality, or barricade. You will now be tanking til you turn green, and the other tank will do the provoke his self. This will continue between the tanks til the end of the kill. Action Bars will look like this: Gear, Abilities and Roles: Attacker. Attackers role is also simple, you must cause as much damage as possible via melee IN ALL PHASES: This is because, Drygore weaponry causes the king ALOT of damage, and can make kills faster than 5 minutes. Duos have recorded kills with just over 2 minutes by using drygore only. Keep your eyes out for the prayer switches, and keep hitting hard. Gear: This is what ALL attackers wear, as it will help optimise your melee attacks to te full extent of your weaponry. Helm: Torva Full Helm / Void Melee Helm / Bandos Helm Top: Torva Platebody / Void Top / Bandos Chestplate Bottoms: Torva Platelegs / Void Bottoms / Bandos Tassets Gloves: Torva Gloves or Goliaths (Remember, torva has a set effect, this includes the gloves) / Void Gloves / Barrows Gloves / Bandos Gloves Boots: Torva Boots or Steadfast Boots (Same applies to the boots, Torva Boots required for the set effects) / Bandos Boots / Dragon Boots Shield Switch (Incase a tank dies): Chaotic Kiteshield / Divine Spirit Shield / Bandos Warshield / Void Deflecter / Blessed Spirit Shield Mainhand Weapons: Drygore Mace or Longsword or Rapier / Chaotic Maul / Chaotic Rapier Offhand Weapons: Off-Hand Drygore Mace or Longsword or Rapier / Chaotic Rapier / Dragon Defender Amulet: Saradmins Whisper / Amulet of Fury / Amulet of Glory Ring: Warrior i or Onyx Ring i / Warrior Ring/ Ring of Life Cape: Tokhaar Kal (or completionist / max cape) / Skill Cape / Cape of Legends. Familiar: Steel Titan / Iron Titan Here is a picture of an OPTIMAL attacker set up Please remember, if voiding, you will need 3 pieces, and a helm for the set effects to work. All you do is soul split on melee phase, and protects/deflects on the rest. Spam your titans specs onto the king, as this will make the kill alot faster (recently jagex nerfed titans, so may be better to bring along a uni instead.). Keep vocal to your team if the king is on you at any point, and shout to the tanks as and when to provoke it. Action bars should look like this. So, in summary. The guide should help you know what to wear, what invents, abilities and what to expect. Best of luck once again, and go get that drygore loot :D :D :D

  15. Having been going to kalphite king, ALOT, want to start myself a drop log of what he can drop,and try to determine a drop rate in teams. This will be via my usual team only, i wont include drops i get from forum teams, as i feel this is kinda cheating (Dont ask why, i just do). Will start this after the weekend :D
  16. Is Ganodermic worth it for Slayer as well or am I better off just using it for Bossing then buying something else for Slayer or maybe even lower level bosses, If so, What gear do I get? I dont personally have the level, but i hear they plough through people now. What weapons are best for Magic? Is it best to use Wand/Shield or Book or a Staff? If so what's best? Currently have Master Wand/Mages Book and Ward of Subjugation. Shields are handy for bossing definatly, Best wands are Virtus > Ahrims > Master. For shields Farseer kite > Arcane Spirit Shield > Spectral >Ward. Books and orbs, Virtus > Ahrims, iv not tried anything else than that. Staff, im yet to try chaotic, but it is a lvl 80 weapon, but Armadyl battlestaff is very good to, with unlimited air runes now. What are the best Ranged weapons to get? Bolts/Arrows? Royal Cbow all the way here, i compare it to the crossbow version of the Zaryte bow, Although slightly weaker, it is free to repair, and still hits very hard. Bolts, royal all the way. What are the best weapons to get for Crush/Stab/Slash? I'm trying to get a full set of some top end gear and supplies then blow a bunch of cash on Herblore/Summoning. There are new drygore weapons out(level 90), the maces, longsword and rapiers, all with off hand counter parts. Otherwise Chaotic maul, rapiers and longsword are good also :D Is getting the full Armadyl and Bandos set worth it and are prices stable enough? I currently am using Veracs (with Bandos Chestplate) and Karils but I'm curious as repair costs really suck. I have armadyl, and bandos, the prices are very unstable at the moment, they dropped a good 4m on the chestplates other day. That being said, it is still usefull armours, but only the chestplates have the damage bonuses. I was using Master Wand/Ward of Subjugation for Kalphite King the first couple days of release but I was busy for a while, What's best now? Would Armadyl Battlestaff/Zamorakian Spear/Crystal Bow(or Royal Crossbow) be the best weapon combination now? If you have designated tanks, then this is the way to go :} Only tanks will need shields. Swap spear for chaotic maul / Drygore weapons, and you're good to go :D What would be the next best alternative thats either cheap to repair or doesn't require repair. Subjugation ^.^ Is Staff of Light that much of a step down from Armadyl Battlestaff? The cost difference is quite a bit so thought I'd ask. SoL is good, but you will notice the difference between that and an Arma Battlestaff.
  17. +1 for this guide. I find larger teams (teams over 8) to be alot arder, due to the mage phase totally ripping into Your team. Check my findings out here, it might help compile this guide a bit more :D
  18. I done fight caves in obsidian (using shield also) and didnt need to pray til jad, who i ranged with broad bolts while prayer switching for his styles. I think it is alot easier now. Id say the armour is good for 10 caves.
