Jagex denying password reset

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Thought I'd make an account as I think the people on here could help me out with the problem I'm currently having. Made an account back in '07 and used it for about 2-3 months, then completely fell out of love with the game until recently seeing the re-launch of 'OldScape'. Went and put in all my old details, which I remember for some reason, and apparently my username/password/email is wrong. I know the email system only came in quite recently, and as for my password and username, they're definitely not wrong. So I filled out the request form and got denied instantly. Was wondering what I could do about this seeing as the info' I put in was definitely correct. Never got hacked or anything like that so I'm pretty perplexed as to what the problem could be. I know my account hasn't been deactivated due to lack of use or anything else as I tried to take the username again and it was already in use. Thanks.

Your account was probably hacked and used for botting. You really ought to just make a new account since 2007scape starts you back at level 3 with level 1 in each skill, so your old account won't give you any advantages.

Thanks for your help. I will do that.

You could e-mail them at [email protected]. Some people get near instant replies, as I have before, while others for some reason can take weeks... Anyways, include as much information as possible.

When I changed my password one time before going camping for 3 weeks, came back and couldn't remember it, I included things like bank pin and other information that no one else would know. Even things like notes (just an example since they weren't out then).

Good luck. :).
