So I decided to start playing again as I have been in the hospital for the last few days and have another week before I am allowed to go back to work. However when I go to log in the log in page does not load (java issue?).

 

Attempting to log in to the main site showed me that I don't remember my password and when I went to recover it the applet where I would type in my account name won't load (java issue?).

 

My apologies if this is the wrong area to post, I just need some help.

Solution to none of the java applets loading - fix your java install.

 

Meaning:

1) Check its up to date

2) Uninstall and do a clean reinstall

3) Make sure you are using a browser that can cope with it (eg chrome on macs can't do java atm)

All of that has been done. Still nothing. I emailed Jagex customer support, here's hoping that they are helpful. I'm not sure if I will start playing again if I have to start from scratch (I was at 2122 total level...)

I would point out - what use is your account if you haven't even sorted getting the game to load due?

Client works because its not java. I figured out how to get to the recovery section to find that I had used an email address from when I interned at a church... and they deleted my email account when I finished interning.

 

I emailed them and that's all I can do besides hope for the best.
