differences between rs versions

Featured Replies

Hello all,

It had been a long time ago when i last played Rs. I started RS about 10 years ago.

After a break i tried it again but they changed all the things i liked about the game. For example the wilderness.

Now i've heard about the reopening of the 2007 servers. I became member last week (never been member in RS) en started playing again.

But im a little confused.. there are so many versions of rs now, i dont know what im playing and what the differences between the versions are.

Would somebody be so kind to tell me what the differences are between:

Runescape classic, Runescape oldschool, Runescape 07, Runescape 2?

I think i like the oldest version of runescape most. Wildy was the best, no member stuff (not that i dont like it, but i just dont know much about it)

Hopefully somebody can tell me!

Thnx in advance.

Runescape classic is pretty much the original (2002 version, no updates)

07 Runescape is runescape as it was in 2007, no updates. (Dubbed "oldschool" by jagex)

RS2 is the current game, with updates.
