3+ Years Inactive, What have I missed?

Featured Replies

So I keep seeing Twitch.tv users streaming some really cool monsters. I've also seen several UI changes, and mechanic changes for that matter. So I guess my question is, what have I missed? I'm intrigued. Like I'd love to jump back in and try some of the new things out but without some knowledge of what has changed I'd feel super lost.

@Robertoross

I've been playing for a while but I take extended breaks a lot =P

Was one of the first to break 99 Runecrafting. Top 200 =)

There have been many many changes, and at first it might be overwhelming. it may be helpful to look at the list of things that have changed on runewiki ( i am not sure if tip.it has one)

you can find where you last played and look on from there. it may be hard to get used to the new stuff, but it is far more customizable in play style and UI. id suggest getting on and just trying things out. if you a re confused post more specific questions here. there are a ton of people who know what they are doing. You will probe get an answer for something (monster killing and skilling) that are the efficient answers. if that is not what you are looking for try your own way, or try to find something you find fun. other wise the others will have a ton of data to back their claims up (most of the time)

There may also be tutorials to get you back into the swing of things, (i know there is a combat tutorial north of lumbridge, but it is very limited) in terms of UI tutorials there really aren't any(that i know of). The new tutorial island is pretty good at teaching you the ropes for new players and may help an old player as well (although not terribly much)

If you do come back welcome back.

Hope this helped

oh and good luck.
