May 1, 201412 yr Hello, assuming max combat with subjugation robes, arcane stream, and seer's (i) or ferocious ring, which weapon is best for slaying with revolution? Tier 75 abyssal wand+orb or tier 77 armadyl staff? I have the tokens to grab a chaotic staff, but it does not seem worth the trouble for 3 tier levels. Also am I correct in assuming that manually spamming abilities will always be better than revolution? It seems like there are several normal attacks that could be abilities, and is there a good way to switch ability bar layouts back and forth for revolution/manual? Also is it pointless to use a spell of a higher level than the lowest above the weapon's tier? Blood blitz for example (level 80) would seem to be the best to use for it's secondary effect. May 1, 201412 yr abby wand duel wield and subjugation is fine for any slayer tasks even greater demons. i'd stick with that as its non degradeable and fairly sure highest dps out of the 3 options you said. Runescape is a haven..
May 1, 201412 yr To answer your question about abilities - to change between revolution/manual click f4 and you can change it there.About using abilities - yes using abilities is better experience, but using ability queing will make it even faster (about 30% faster, shown on dardan's latest video). About weapons - I believe that for slaying alone the abyssal wand+orb would be better, as it is faster (but lower damage), however assuming you are using potions and wearing your slayer helmet it should be really good. Also helps to be able to have dual wielding weapons without loosing money for when you need to switch to ancient magics for certain slayer tasks where multi combat barrages are helpful. But to be honest, I would reccomend getting a chaotic staff ;) 80 Dung may seem high but with eoc dungeoneering is much easier than previously :) Hope that helps
