I've done a few different things to train my Magic to get that 99.

 

First was at Muspha's, don't know xp/h but it had loads of drops and required constant banking for me.

 

Second I went to Automaton's for what felt like an eternity gained loads of farm seeds, which is nice, and got the Static Gloves and Cresbot. It was about 100k xp/h there for me while constantly picking stuff up, got quite the number of clue scrolls there and did them all.

 

Last place I went was today and not for very long and didn't count xp for how long I was there. It was Abyssal plane doing dual wielding wand and orb. Abyss plane via Fairy Ring if it makes a difference, though I think it would be more crowded with monsters in small place at the Abyss via wildy.

 

Abyss one is said to equal to about 300k xp/h, which also was said can be achieved at waterfiends doing same technique. I'd probably be happy with anything faster than my 100k xp/h rate and would really like to get 99 Magic asap mostly by or ready to lvl by v300 Pengs Celebration at 20:00 GMT (I think that was the time I don't know if I will make it and all or reach xp there since I may be gone all day Saturday. Saying that I'd at the very least like to get it to 99 before Sunday ends my time which is -5 GMT or 12:00 am EST.

 

Is the Abyss the best option? Whats the xp/h for best place? If Abyss should it be via wildy and is it quicker than Fairy Ring plane?

Would not having 92 prayer for Soul Split make it a lot slower? I've been working toward 92 and I did try Glacors after finishing the quest and it seemed a lot slower and more resource taxing on me then. It may not be the same for me now as it was. I was wondering if you knew which spells he was casting, I think I saw Blood Barrage, but unsure if it was Blood Barrage and Smoke Barrage. I assume dual Blood Barrage due to weakness to fire. 

 

I'd be willing to give it a shot just unsure what my setup should be inventory wise.

 

Current stats are:

99 Def, 99 HP, 97 Magic, 90 Pray, & 81 Sum

 

Also my herb is only 83.

I'm going to give it a shot with dual blood barrage. My inventory is 1 (4) Super Magic, 9 Rocktails, 16 (4) Pray Pots, and my blood and fire runes.

Should be changing my signature soon when I get 99 Magic, I got 99 Range today so I'll have two changes to make. =]

Sooo, I only managed to kill 3 before exhausting food. =/

 

I need to get soul split for this. ><

Pray ranged with vampyrism aura. Wear something a little tankier too if you are currently using something like subjugation.

I did pray ranged. I don't have Vampyrism I debated getting it but got Master Jack of Trades instead. Probably is my armor that's the problem. Wearing Mighty Slayer Helm, Zamorak Warpriest, and Static Gloves.

Would Ganodermic be good with the defense?
