Interesting Random event stuff

I'm been training on basilisk for the past three days and I have gooten more random events in the past three days then I have ever (and I've been playing for 4+ years

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've had 11 strange plants (by the way has anyone ever killed one)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the mystious old man about 6 times

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Frogs 3 times

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Evil bob 4 times

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sandwhich lady 10 times

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr Jekly 2 times

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So yea it been crazy lately in fact I just got my 11th strange plant while I was typing this

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My only thought as to why this is, is becuse I high alch all the junk items (most of my R-Es have been right after I alch

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

so yea I'm just curious if anyone else has ever had that kind of frequency while doing something

I've been getting quite a few strange plants lately. Seems to be related to training in one spot for more then a half hour and then alching or burying bones. The only good thing is that when a strange plant spawns it makes a distinctive noise.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can you kill a strange plant?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's not really a strange plant, it's a dust devil who is almost dead.

I saw someone kill the plant. The death animation was the plant's dissapearing animation and he said it dropped nothing and was a total waste of time and food.

Yes, high alching the "junk" definitly seems to trigger the randoms, I have noticed that as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I spent last night and this morning at dust devils. I didnt keep exact count, but it was something like 1 plant, 3 genies, 1 sandwich lady, at leat 5 drunken dwarves, 3 mysterious old men (I have not had them for ages!), 1 Miles, 1 Rick Turpentine (and he gave me a kebab, I didn't know he could do that), 1 frog prince (and since had cannon which kept shooting and thereby kept me figting, I didnt manage to kiss him so got teled to froggy land :lol: ) 2 Capt'n Hand, 2 swarms - whew, I think that was it all ;)
