In what case exactly is it transporting dragonhides ... because as it turns out, killing dragons doesn't quite work with it.

When you wield it and pick up the hides it teleports them to the bank.

Dear lord ... they should make some sort of ... an explanation. Even in the official site nothing mentions picking up .. just teleporting to the bank. And considering how the Spring Cleaner works ...

 

Even the other pocket slots - bonegrinder, herbicide, seedicide etc ... they do what they do without the need to pick up stuff ...

 

It just seems counterintuitive :D

But of course if it did not work that way it would be wasting charges on all manner of junk you do not want to be sent to the bank, or require an almighty mess of a menu to allow every last thing it can teleport to be toggled on and off.

 

After all it is far more all encompassing than the items that provide a niche use (bonecrusher, herbicide, seedicide) and equally vastly outstrip those that address a few categories (spring cleaner, charming imp) they do cater to a good 100+ different items after all.

Here's the way to think about it: it teleports items when they get added to your inventory. They should explain it that way, as that's basically the way that it works (I think there are some circumstances that it doesn't do that, but it's not very many).
