Okay..I got a message that Java need to be updated...So I updated it. Now I have had problems ever since.

 

I can get to the front page of  runescape but when I hit play it would tell me to download runescape. So I downloaded runescape. No no no no I want to play runescape using swiftkit.

 

So I re-installed Java and Swiftkit. And now I can get to the front page of runescape but when I click on login it's just blank with nothing. 

 

Does anyone have some advice? :unsure:

Are you able to load runescpae in your browser?

Yes, and it loads in swiftkits until I try to get to the  login stage

RS has a problem with the latest Java version... Go on the java site and download the previous one, it worked for me!

How do I do that? 

1. Go to Start > Control panel > Add/Remove programs 

2. Uninstall ALL versions of Java 

3. Download Java 7u60 download page on Java Download / Sun's website:

http://javadl.sun.co­m/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=90223

4. Install the update 

5. Once installed, restart your co­mputer 

Did all that and it is still prompting me to download Runescape instead of taking me to the login screen? Help  :blink:

Then I advise you to post on the RSOF in the Tech Support section. There's more active people in that section than on TIF, and some JMods can also help. Or you can also read others posts and see if someone has the same bug as you!

 

If you want to play in the mean time, you could download the client and that should work!

Have you tried using the Chrome option?

yes I have tried chrome too.

I have the same problem. I tried the uninstalling and re installing, tired chrome.....Just a black screen, after I "log In"

 

Shame really as I love swiftkit, its all I have ever wanted to use for Runescape. Oh well, such is life :(
