Training Combat using EOC (From 20 Upwards) Help please

Right i'm new to EOC and i've played since 2006, BUT the point is

every place i read tells me to train at cows or at the level 1 troll things till i'm 40 atk,str,def

 

Idk why but i'm in agony reading that I might need to train on cows till that level?

Something like goblins, trolls, cows, etc. are best at low levels because:

 

-you can one-hit them

-you won't bleed a ton of damage as they don't hurt you for much

-there is a large enough mob in an area to keep killing

 

It shouldn't take that many hours to get up to level 40 in stats, just keep at it :).

 

Dagon'Hai monks may also work, despite their high combat level.  They only hit a maximum of 1 damage.  I'm not sure how well this works at low levels but it may be worth investigating, since you are P2P.

Yeah its not exactly going to be a long torture to get to the lvl 40s on such mobs - you can easily clear lvl 1-40 quite quickly.

 

1 cow is 26.5 cmb xp

lvl 40 is a total of 37k xp

You can 1 hit a cow so thats like 1 cow every ~4 seconds if you focus.

Which equates to 93 minutes of cows for level 1-40 in a single stat.

 

Using your hiscore stats it works out to 240 minutes from where you are now to all lvl 40s, so all in all not a big time investment 4-5 hour ballpark at cows would net you all 3 stats.

One place I find most people underestimate is the Stronghold of Security place up at Barbarian Village. It contains various monsters that auto-attack plus drop nice stuff. :)
