When do raw materials (aka resources) become so cheap and crash so badly? I'm talking ores, bars, runes, seeds, summoning ingredients, herbs, secondary herb ingredients, logs, planks, etc.

 

Over the past week, they have been in a staggeringly high demand. It seems like they may be crashing because it feels a bit overpriced but when usually does the demand fall rock bottom?

 

Also, when does "processed resources" become expensive (best time to sell for good price)? I'm talking potions, armour/weapons, pouches, etc.

 

So in other words, what sorts of events surround the market?

I think they'll probably sink steadily until shortly before BXPW, and then of course rise with last-minute purchases.  Many kinds of armor and resources are at alch price anyway, and over the weekend they'll crash really hard (you wouldn't believe me if I told you), so you may be able to pick up cheap alchs.  Elf City (second batch with the weapons) throws a monkey wrench into the rest of them though, so higher level stuff will be contingent on that.

Yeah the items wont really come down till after the BXP weekend.  They are going down a bit at the moment as I've been flippin some and can see the trend.  Pretty standard with these weekends.  If your aiming to buy for the BXP week then I suggest waiting until about Oct 10th.  This day is just plucked out of a hat as its still a good length from the actual weekend and people wont be stocking up as hard.  Waiting too much longer than that and the hording will begin.
