October 17, 201411 yr How do I fix this problem? I sometimes keep getting a black screen when I'm join hopping worlds. When the black screen shows up, it stays there until I close and reopen the game. Is there any technical fix on that? Also, check out my Youtube Channel for more awesome RS Videos and Guides!
October 17, 201411 yr just logging out then logging back in will usually fix it for me, otherwise i dont think there is a known fix. Runescape is a haven..
October 17, 201411 yr I haven't personally experienced this. Another patch fix might be to attempt changing display modes, i.e. DirectX->OpenGL and back to force it to reload. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art? --- My blog here if you want to check out my Times articles and other writings! October 17, 201411 yr You go to Settings->Graphics Settings to change it. They're just two different softwares, but one usually works better than the other depending on the operating system you're running (DirectX for Windows if I'm not mistaken). October 17, 201411 yr I find opening a full screen interface like the world map can usually jolt black screen into loading properly.
