October 13, 201510 yr Cheapest method? I've never done artisan workshop, but now that iron platebodies have tanked in price... I basically need a second opinion. I don't really care how long it takes, I'm f2p, so I have a lot of time. I just don't have much money.
October 13, 201510 yr Making burial armor out of iron i should be relatively cheap. Iron ore is about 250 gp each and you get 100-110 xp per ore worth in Artisan's, depending on whether you keep switching items or simply afk it. You can also fix pipes occasionally for xp. So at most, you would be spending 2.5 gp/xp on it, probably around 3.5M total cost. You could also make steel i in the workshop or superheat instead, but both of these methods would be a lot steeper in terms of cost vs the xp rate you would gain.
